01-03-19Diemme started out 25 years ago producing high spec, hand-made mountaineering boots. Each pair is carefully crafted by hand in the Northeastern part of Italy. They strive to produce the highest quality footwear with an exceptional level of comfort, progressive designs informed by some iconic, classic styles.
Due to the Italian footwear industry being comprised mainly of small family owned companies this network of small-scale supporting industries, and highly skilled workers, is what makes it possible to produce limited production runs of high quality artisan products.
Continuing to utilize master craftsman and using the finest materials for the job, Diemme have turned their attention to readapting some classic silhouettes into clean and functional styles perfect for city life – we have selected three styles we feel fit perfectly into our SS '19 range.
The Loria is a classic pump style, but instead of cotton canvas its crafted from a luxury Italian suede upper and fully lined with leather throughout. Designed to stand the test of time, getting better with age. We see these being worn throughout the seasons, as comfortable with shorts as the are with a pair of chinos. All of Diemme’s materials are sourced from the finest suppliers worldwide (these mainly seem to be in Italy!) and the foot beds are made from a vegetable latex which is proven to be not only comfy but also neutralizes odour!
The Garda is a style reminiscent of summer. An easy, laid back silhouette that is effortless to wear. Again, this classic has been given the full Diemme luxury treatment. Fully lined throughout with Italian cow leather, suede trimmings and a super tough Italian cotton canvas body.
The Iseo is crafted from an eco friendly suede leather from the UK and cotton canvas from Italy. A familiar silhouette that is quintessentially summer. Diemme have added their own personal touch with the laces - a nod to their hiking roots.
