Biography Alec Soths (b. 1969) reputation as one of the leading lights of contemporary photographic practice is largely predicated on the books he has published. A member of Magnum Photos, his photographs have been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide, including a touring exhibition, which launched at the Media Space, Science Museum, London in October 2015. Prior solo exhibitions have run at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (2010); Jeu de Paume, Paris (2008); and Fotomuseum Winterthur (2008). Soth has been the recipient of numerous fellowships and awards, including the Guggenheim Fellowship (2013).
